Dates chopped: 1 cup
Coconut milk first : 3 cups
Coconut milk second: 2 cups
Cardamom powder : 1 tsp
Soaked almonds: 50gms
Milk made: 1/4 to 1/2 tin
Salt: a pinch
Chopped coconut and Ghee as required
Preparation:
First soak dates in 1/2 cup second coconut milk and grind to a paste along with almonds after removing skin.
Heat a pan add the dates and almond paste along with remaining second coconut milk and bring to boil, then slowly add first coconut milk , salt, cardamom powder and milk made (adjust as per sweet) and once it starts boiling remove from fire (don't boil).
Roast chopped coconut in ghee and garnish, and enjoy.
