RYLA's intent is to encourage students to be more Effective leaders. RYLA is not a camp intended to teache leadership skills(it is assumed that the students in attendance already possess those skills). However, the following topics naturally arise in the course of RYLA activities and discussions.

The participants shall be students of age group 14-30 and they should be sponsored by the by the Principal of the concerned Institute/ any Rotary Club of District 3211. Annetts from Rotary clubs and Rotary members are given preference.
