TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RADIO MANGO PHILIPS ‘VEETTILE THAARAM’

RADIO MANGO PHILIPS ‘VEETTILE THAARAM’ CONTEST IS CONDUCTED BY RADIO MANGO. THE CONTEST WILL BE HELD FROM 12th August 2020 to 31st August 2020.

BY PARTICIPATING in Radio Mango Philips ‘Veettile Thaaram’ Contest, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO STRICTLY ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, WILL RENDER YOU INELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST.

Radio Mango reserves all rights to make amendments to the following Terms and Conditions without any prior notice.

  1. To enter or participate in Radio Mango Philips ‘Veettile Thaaram’ contest, you have to submit a photo/video of your favuorite dish along with a creative caption and using the hashtag  #VeettileThaaram to Radio Mango Facebook page timeline or post it in instagram with  #VeettileThaaram tagging @radiomango
  2.  Based on the photos uploaded each day, one daily winner will be chosen to be gifted a Philips Mixer Grinder.
  3. Entries for Radio Mango Philips ‘Veettile Thaaram’ contest can be submitted between 12th August 2020 to 31st August 2020., 11:59 PM IST. Only entries received during this time period will be considered.
  4. Each Entry may only be submitted once. Entrants may submit multiple Entries, as long as each Entry is taken on a different day and differs significantly from any other Entry submitted by the entrant.
  5. Winners will be declared weekly on www.manoramaonline.com/veettilethaaram
  6. The Entry should be a photo/video taken after August 12, 2020.
  7. The competition is only open to citizens of India. All entrants must be Indian residents.
  8. Employees of Radio Mango and/or the parent company Malayala Manorama and its affiliates cannot participate in the competition. Their immediate family members are also ineligible to participate.
  9. Radio Mango reserves the exclusive right to terminate the event, prize distribution etc., or extend the date at any time, or to accept or reject Entries at its absolute discretion without assigning any reason for the same. The decision of Radio Mango regarding the contest will be deemed final.
  10. Submission of an Entry constitutes consent and a Copyright License by the entrant for Radio Mango to use the content, all or part of the Entries for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, including without limitation, on the internet.
  11. By submitting an entry, you represent and warrant that the content is original to you and that no other party has any rights protected by copyright rules applicable in India. You may be asked to produce photographs of yourself to demonstrate that the dish submitted was done by you. Failure to produce valid proof will result in removal of the Entry from consideration in the contest.
  12. By submitting or sharing an entry for Radio Mango Philips ‘Veettile Thaaram’ contest, you grant Radio Mango, the royalty-free, unrestricted, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive and fully sub-licensable right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, edit and display such material (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed.
  13. We reserve the right to refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, that, in our sole discretion, are unacceptable, undesirable, inappropriate or in violation of these Terms and Conditions. The Entrant acknowledges that the organisers have no obligation to use or post any entry submitted.
  14. You acknowledge and agree that Radio Mango will hold no responsibility or liability, directly or indirectly, for the submitted entry and the same is solely the original content creator’s responsibility and liability.
  15. Radio Mango does not grant any licence or other authorisation to any user of our trade marks, service marks, other copyrightable material or any other intellectual property, by including them with the entries on any public or social media platform. By participating, the Entrant agrees not to release any publicity or other materials on his/her own or through someone else regarding his/her participation in the Contest without the prior consent of the organisers, which it may withhold in its sole discretion.
  16. Entries will be selected and shortlisted entirely through internal evaluation on the merits of each Entry, and in accordance with a criteria set by Team Radio Mango.
  17. Winners shall not be entitled to substitutions of prize winnings. Any and all incidental costs, direct and/or indirect taxes and/or levies, if any, applicable under the laws of India, with regard to the prize, shall be borne by the participant(s) and/or contestant(s) and/or the winner, and in no manner whatsoever will Radio Mango be responsible for the same.
  18. After announcing the winner, if the Winner does not respond and confirm their acceptance of the prize within 7 days of contact; or fails or refuses to disclose any information, including but not limited to the address details for delivery of the prize, as may be required by Radio Mango, they will forfeit their right to receive the prize and Radio Mango reserves the right to award the prize to a substitute winner at it’s sole discretion and shall not be held responsible for the same in any manner whatsoever.
  19. The winner agrees to be present for and/or participate in press and promotional activities.
  20. The winner shall not raise any dispute with regard to the prize in any manner whatsoever, including but not limited to the value of the prize and/or otherwise with Radio Mango.
  21. Since Radio Mango controls and operates from our offices in India, all matters relating to the contest and the terms mentioned in this Rules and Regulations shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
  22. In respect of any differences or disputes between Radio Mango and you relating to or touching upon these terms and conditions, the Courts in the city of Cochin alone shall have jurisdiction to the exclusion of all other Courts that may otherwise have had such jurisdiction.
