Which govt comes it has to protect the environment by making sure development should be done without cutting down trees, filling paddy fields or demolishing hills and mountains. Once thats done water preservation can be done easily. For eg the highway towards kannur where the bypass section starts from Ramanattukara to Atholi there is enough space to expand the current motorway. It has be expanded without cutting down the tree canopy which is there for years. Instead of cutting down those the new road can be built just next to it on pillars so that the ground below can be used as a canal for irrigation water.

Instead of going to other states and foreign countries, our children should get employment opportunities in Kerala itself.
